I started building lamps a few years ago. The first one was made with concrete, after seeing a YouTube video.
I then tried the same shape, but with LEDs protruding from the inside.
I then got the idea to put an LED strip for outside use in a box of concrete and use it as an ornament outside. This is from the build:
And the result:
The only problem was that all the lamps I build eventually stopped working. Not sure if it was the LED strips that didn’t like the concrete or something else.
I also tried some other shapes, to varying degrees of success:
The concrete theme continued, now with an inside lamp:
And one really heavy lamp:

And one for the kitchen corner:
And of course I have built some that did not turn out that well:
